A personal project I've been working on during my free time- It is said in ancient times, the monastery was built, carved into the towering pillars way above the clouds by the sages of the sun, before water levels rose for generations to how it is today. The residents of the monastery continuously build their village closer and closer towards the sky as waters rises.

The people of the village worships the god of the Sun, whom they consider the heartbeat of the natural world. The people believes that the Sun God has provided the villagers with warmth and agricultural abundance despite being so high up in the mountains, but rumors of a feud between the sun and sea god has caused the water levels to rise, to eventually wipe out the sun's resilient worshipers...and perhaps that is true.

It's a work in progress that I wish to develop further :)
